Yes that price it comes down to that increasing responsibility as more is asked and received. That concept is captured nicely in this quote here from Law of One when asked about healing..
”One item which may be of interest is that a healer asking to learn must take the distortion understood as responsibility for that ask/receiving, thus healing. This is a[n] honor/duty which must be carefully considered in free will before the asking.” Simply makes it easier to keep progressing.. what you need to work on stands out more. Although may not always seem so good at the time
A side note healing in Law of One speak is this “Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect”

It’s interesting to reflect on how the work of learning the lessons we set out for ourselves to meet up with in this incarnation first bubble around in our subconscious before the conscious mind becomes aware of this. On the one hand, this is obvious, but on the other, it suggests we could possibly sift through our subconscious content to get some sense of what lessons we are incubating. One way to do this is by subtle observation.

Thank you Mirror for this accurate understanding that through observation we can learn those subtle hints, and following them, we expand who we are, and come to greater knowing, and greater expansion of our self.
Through that development we enrich multiple strands of energy - through cooperation with our inner dreams and soul pattern, expansion will come to our self and being of the love polarity orientation, a service to others occur simultaneously partly because we would better represent who they are - better reflect and mirror their own light, but also as an active principle, an active and conscious decision to offer service in physical realm would most probably come forth as a natural reaction to the expansion within - sooner or later. Sometimes it is delayed (The will to serve others) obviously due to blockages, bad karma (eg. greed and love of money in past life influences present day motivation), but if one was to keep following their intuition and following through with those inclinations observed then it is a natural byproduct of soul development and aligning our WILL to the will of the Light/Lord/Logos within, who was touching our heart.
Then miracles can happen.

I find this passage surprisingly comforting. I guess it brings to heart the Home Team and makes me a bit nostalgic for the camaraderie. It gets lonely, playing way the hell out in left field in a stadium with no limiting walls, no scoreboard and no clear boundary lines. It feels good to be reminded of my buddies waiting in the dugout.

The term, “a consciousness of love,” perhaps could use some elaboration, because to a being operating primarily with a personal consciousness (using energy centers 1, 2 and 3) it might suggest simply an awareness of love. Another way of viewing it is that, when a person shifts from living for mainly personal-reactive purposes to being guided to act for the common good, a shift in consciousness may occur that opens the possibility of regarding all things for symbolic-impersonal purposes. This shift allows one to engage with " more catalyst for your heart to digest."

Another way to express this, in the context of the quote, is that “a consciousness of love” involves elevating and centering one’s perception within the part of one’s mental life that blends with the perspective of the Higher Self, and then with that of the Creator. This, in turn, allows for more effective processing of catalyst in material daily life.

Yes, I would hope so. The point is the development from growing due to the impulses of nature (feeding, sex, social climbing, need for deeper understanding) to growing because one is propelled to serve and to love. This is related to Q’uo’s description above: “…capable of keeping that relationship with direct perception of the Creator as a part of the point of view…” The heart guides the actions.

Great discussion.. now to tie it back to a couple of Law of One quotes, that I have been meditating a lot past few days and synchronistic link to this. Subject of Catalyst and the energy centers..
First.. is
"54.17 Questioner: I would like then to trace the evolution of catalyst upon the mind/body/spirit complexes and how it comes into use and is fully used to create this tuning. I assume that the sub-Logos that formed our tiny part of the creation, using the intelligence of the Logos of which it is a part, provides, shall I say, the base catalyst that will act upon mind/body complexes and mind/body/spirit complexes before they reach the state of development where they can begin to program their own catalyst. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. The sub-Logos offers the catalyst at the lower levels of energy, the first triad; these have to do with the survival of the physical complex. The higher centers gain catalyst from the biases of the mind/body/spirit complex itself in response to all random and directed experiences.
Thus the less developed entity will perceive the catalyst about it in terms of survival of the physical complex, with the distortions which are preferred. The more conscious entity, being conscious of the catalytic process, will begin to transform the catalyst offered by the sub-Logos into catalyst which may act upon the higher energy nexi.
Thus the sub-Logos can offer only a basic skeleton, shall we say, of catalyst. The muscles and flesh—having to do with the, shall we say, survival of wisdom, love, compassion, and service—are brought about by the action of the mind/body/spirit complex on basic catalyst so as to create a more complex catalyst which may, in turn, be used to form distortions within these higher energy centers.
The more advanced the entity, the more tenuous the connection between the sub-Logos and the perceived catalyst until, finally, all catalyst is chosen, generated, and manufactured by the self, for the self."
Now the all important one..

The whole discussion of 54 is a great one, (if more reading is desired an to bring it all into context).. That last paragraph above though.. is just such a treasure chest to meditate on, and come back to in future and rinse and repeat for more to be found, especially when bringing int into context with the above 54.17 quote..
