Two somewhat related questions about “ghosts” and time/space

  1. Can the idea of “ghosts” be reconciled with or explained by the Law of One? For some examples:
    A. When there is a spirit encounter, like those you can find on YouTube, where exactly do those spirits come from and why are they here? Especially for “haunted” locations.
    B. When a family member dies and the family begins receiving spiritual contact, is that really the spirit of the dead family member? Why would they return to their family? Shouldn’t they be in time/space reviewing their incarnation, and planning out their next? Some even claim to be mediums and have methods for knowing if who they are talking to is who they claim to be.

  2. What exactly is “time/space”? To my understanding, it is where you go between incarnations in order to review the previous life and plan for the next. And to my understanding of Larson’s Reciprocal System, space/time has 3 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension, while time/space would have 3 temporal dimensions and 1 spatial dimension. If this is correct, is there an intuitive way to understanding how there can be more than one axis of time? If our 1 time dimension is just “cause to effect”, how can there be other axes? And to my knowledge, what it’s like to be in time/space is similar to being in your thoughts, or being in a lucid dream; you can do absolutely anything but you don’t have a direct effect on any entity outside of you, you just control your perception.

Good day, my Friend.

I will not attempt to be overly clever here, but I will provide you with the text from the channeling in response to your question.

Ra describes the time/space environment as the inverse to space/time. Whereas we in space/time are immobile in time, but can travel in space in all direction; those in time/space are immobile in space, but can travel in time. Our question is: how do the entities in time/space experience the passage of space? Is it similar to the way that we in space/time experience the movement of time?

Q’uo: We will attempt to make understandable that which is somewhat difficult within your illusion, for the words to describe that which is beyond this illusion are not always available in your language. However, upon the cessation of the physical body in the third density, the spiritual nature of the entity—which is the enlivening nature which is now leaving the physical body—moves into that realm of the spirit world which many have called time/space, that which is immaterial, that which is metaphysical; beyond the physical. This world has its own reality, shall we say—it’s set of natural laws and qualities which are immutable. It is as rich an environment as is the one which the third density experiences at this time.

Q’uo: As you mentioned, within your third density you must move very slowly, as you would see it, in the river of time, accumulating a past, existing within your present, anticipating a future. Within the time/space realms, entities therein residing are able to move only, shall we say, slowly about in a spacious environment. However, they have at their disposal the eternal present, which would contain all of the times of which you are aware—the past, the present and the future, existing as villages, shall we say, upon your planetary sphere. They may be easily traveled to. The time then is quite flexible.

Q’uo: The space, however, contains a kind of, we give this instrument a word suggesting stiffness or rigidity, which prohibits the equally easy movement in space as is able to be accomplished in time. However, there is the ability to move, what you might call great distances by thought, if travel is desired. However, most entities feel less need for that which you would call travel to distant locations, for all that is needed for the experience of the time/space nature can be created by the mind in cooperation with others of like mind. Thus, there is no need to move from space to space when what one might seek in another place, one can create here, now, in the eternal present.

The question is from S, who asks, “Could you tell me the difference between space/time and time/space?" This was a question that was covered in the Law of One but I would love to hear Q’uo talk about time/space for I still do not understand it very well even from an abstract point of view. When entities live in time/space, what is their life like? We move freely in space but move slowly in time. Do entities in time/space move freely in time and slowly in space? We do not control our movement in time. Do they not control their movement on space?”

Q’uo: You wish information this morning on the concept and the nature of time/space. Time/space is that which surrounds you at all times and in all spaces, shall we say. In your present illusion you are consciously aware of space/time and it is that in which you conduct your daily activities. It is that with which you are most familiar. Time/space permeates all of space/time and you move within this as well, although you do not have as great a degree of awareness of this.

Q’uo: You are aware that space/time is the home, shall we say, of the illusion of incarnation and that when an entity is not conscious of being within the incarnational illusion, whether between incarnations beyond the process of physical incarnation or in some other way aware of the dimensions of space/time—whether in the dreaming state or other means of alterations of consciousness—then the field of time/space is that of which the entity has primary awareness.

Q’uo: Time/space is that realm within which we are able to be with you at all times, that we may inhabit space/time as well. The movements which are possible to make in time/space are variable as are those in space/time and perhaps more widely variable because of the greater divergence of types of entities that inhabit time/space. There are entities of more differing densities that inhabit these realms and their abilities to move vary according to their individual development. [This] is also true of space/time which in your current illusion is inhabited by the first, second, third and beginning of fourth-density entities. And you may see the divergence of the abilities to move in, for example, the rock entity which moves very slowly in space as compared to the third-density entity which moves about in space seemingly at will, limited only by such physical laws as the entity is aware of.

There’s not so much info about ghosts in channelings, but here’s what I found.

  1. March 11, 1978 - Saturday meditation - L/L Research

I would like to know about my dreams I have been having. Can you shed any light on them?… Is there anything I should be afraid of?

Hatonn: You are, as are most who dwell in the dimension of Earth, not sensitive to specific visual counterparts of finer plane beings. In other words, most of those upon your planet do not perceive spirit guides and ghosts. If you were to fall completely in a state of sleep, as you call it, then you would then be totally able in your well-collected spiritual essence to contact the guides, to speak to the proper guardians of each plane. And to do all that is necessary to assure proper passage for lessons.

I have a question about thoughtforms. We remembered that the pyramid that Ra created was a thought-form and that Ra itself came to Earth to teach as a thought-form. And so, we thought perhaps a thought-form is something that does not have consciousness but is something that can be created by a being with consciousness. So, can you describe the thought-forms in some other way?

Q’uo: Another example of thought-forms is the common phenomena concerning ghosts. When entities have left the physical vehicle with which they enjoyed an incarnation but for some reason do not wish to go on into the inner planes for the review of their incarnation and healing, that disembodied personality shell which is commonly called a ghost can linger in the physical world. Yet it is not at all physical. [They may remain] indefinitely, until such time as someone is able to contact those souls and lead them on to taking up their rhythm of seeking and learning through other incarnations and other choices.

  1. February 14, 1993 - Sunday meditation - L/L Research

Q’uo: The most comprehensive definition of life is this life, is manifestation. To put this another way, life is movement. Because we do not feel that this basic a definition is helpful, we shall go further, but it is well to remember that all that is, is alive—that all was created by a thought which was the character and nature of the infinite Creator. This thought we call Love, for there is no appropriate designation. However, this Love is as terrible as it is filled with wonder, and loves as passionately destruction as it does creation, for the love that is the nature of the Father, shall we say, is a love that embraces the creation as a whole process, so that all phases of this movement are equally lovely.

Q’uo: To focus more in on a definition of life that might be helpful, we would consider the way in which third-density entities come into the energy web of a physical vehicle. In terms of human existence, the human life is joined when the vibratory nexus of what you may call the soul enters into and mingles with a permanent bonding with a physical vehicle. There is a life of the body complex. This is inextricably enmeshed with the life of the spirit or soul, and the resulting harmony of vibratory patterns becomes a living being.

Q’uo: Similarly, when the movement of the spirit has ceased and separated itself from the energy nexus of the physical vehicle, that human being is not living. This occurs sometimes before the physical death and sometimes at the moment of physical death, and in some rare circumstances where there is a soul very tenacious of consciousness within this particular illusion, there remains the clinging of the soul to an unviable physical vehicle. This is usually described as a ghost or a haunting, and is a result of the spirit being unwilling to move forward.

Greetings Saruto,

Two quite interesintg questions you have.

Dima answered quite beautifully I think with all her thorough search of Q’uo or Hatton.

So I can add just two or three little stories, which happened to me, about what might be ‘ghosts’ and one which is more about the interaction that entities in time/space might still have with us.

About 30 years ago, in a southern California city where I was living, I became great friend with the wife of a Belgian man who was working in diplomacy. They stayed there for three years and then returned to Brussels. They lived in a mid century house and one day my friend who was walking on a hallway on the second floor saw a woman with long dark hair getting into her bedroom which was situated at the end of that hallway.

She walked quickly there to see who was that unknown person in henhouse, and when. she got there, there was no one. There was no other exit to her bedroom, but it was empty. But the top drawer of a chest was opened and all her lingerie there had been disturbed… lol

This repeated a few times till one day she got angry, and said loudly,'Look this is MY drawer and I would like you to stop invading this room, and more precisely my lingerie. I am sorry but I think you need to leave this house and find some rest. " ( my friend had a an awesome, but kind, sense of humor) And then this event never took place again, and the lady with long hair disappeared…

A few months later she finally tackled the subject with her husband and said you know, we used to have a ghost but I didn’t want to tell you because I didn’t want to worry you ! And he answered, Oh my god you saw her too ?? I never broached the subject because I, didn’t want to frighten you !

lol.

So it seems that the courageous, but kind, stand my friend toolk, just let that nice long haired woman decide that perhaps it was time to go and let the Earth continue without her,., Which might align itself with what Q’uo says …

Now about time/s[pace, I have this little other story, and perhaps you will like that.
Many years ago, around 1983, at that time , I had my second child who, before his second birthday, had a near drowning accident and was plunged into a deep coma which after some weeks became a light coma. He was not attached to any machines so it seemed he wanted, for his own reasons to stay around for a while.

One of his nurses had a sister who was practicing yoga like I used to and believed in reincarnation, like I also sued to. She had met a psychic who was a young man and was apparently communicating with your personal guides after having made your astrological portrait along the Hindu astrological charts. He also knew Sanscrit and he didn’t want to meet you more than once so you had to come prepared with all kinds of questions you had.

He also didn’t predict your future but could voice through your guides the several options that you, had to choose.

All this seemed very legit to me, ( I had never had had a reading before. I hadn’t read the LoO at the time, but I, for some short time, been studying the Rishis and had an approximate study of the Vedas,). We wanted to know if there was something more we could do about the way we cared for my child.

I had also, a few days prior to the pool accident of my son, woken up suddenly very early one morning and had seen at the foot of my bed two long forms in prayer, with a very benevolent, shall we say, aura. So I went to have that reading,.

The second part of the reading, was when he was reviewing what he had said in the astrological portrait and my guides, with a great sense of humor, were correcting a few things or adding some, making sometimes fun of my young psychic.

At one moment they said. ’ Sometimes you are driving and turn suddenly to the unoccupied seat where there is no passenger and you have the acute momentous image that your son, who is in a coma, is actually sitting there next to you. Then you berate yourself and start having these thoughts that through your pain, you are what humans say, ‘losing your mind’. We want to telll you that your son is often during the day by your side, when he is not at work on an other plane, and that there was a choice for him to have for this incarnation where he was planing this accident , between three mothers and he chose you as he saw that you would be the most apt to help him, along his future choice, to step back in. or step out of this incarnation. "

So this I think shows how, not ghosts, but definitely other things are at work in our little 3rd density.

They said also something quite nice about time/space since this was your question…

Later in the reading they said, " We would like to tell you something. We have a question, do you sometimes find pennies on the sidewalk when you walk in the city to accomplish these things you do ?’
and I said, ’ Yes I noticed it. I see many times pennies and I just do not pick them up thinking someone else will need them more than I do right now, but I do see them ’

And they said : " Well, we would like you to pick them up and put them in a bowl, look at the bowl and you know see, pennies ‘from heaven’. You were very close to your father and he loves you very much, and he is the one putting these and it takes for him a lot of energy to materialize them and he is unhappy that you do not pick them up…" So I have to say I both laughed and nearly had tears too, lol.

And then they added this " He also would like you to know that he would like you to do crosswords, because if you do he will whisper you the answer."

I have to say my dad used to do one crossword every night in France which is from the evening daily Le Monde, and it is a very difficult crosswords, and I hate crosswords… I was always in awe of him for doing it and sometimes he would tell me the clue and the word he had guessed, I was like, this is bonkers how can he love doing this and find the answers !!! lol.
So now I do a mini crossword nearly each day just for his sake.
I still find dcorssword incredibly annoying lol

But you see Sarutio, I think even in time/space you probably still have a desire to help those poor souls of us locked in 3rd Density, once you have reviewed your incarnation, perhaps you take a break, and still help, lol lol lol

  1. All matter has energy. Even after a physical object has decayed, an energy signature remains in the etheric field. Our 3D world concerns both the physical objects themselves, and the 4D energy signatures they ex/in/hibit.

A. As far as haunted locations go, if an energy signature is fearful over an extended amount of time in a particular location, I would imagine it would be ‘haunted’. Similarly, if a place experienced repetitive joy and dancing and love, it would also, I imagine be ‘haunted’.

B. Probably depends on the entity, both the medium and the disincarnate. Lots of people claim to be lots of things. You have to discern with is ‘right’ or ‘true’.

  1. The difference between time/space and space/time is, in my view, the difference between math and fiction.

Time/space marks the passage or the calculation of space. The rate of decay. The hours.

Space/time is like the Dreamtime. The pastabilities. The horrors.

In regard to Larson and understanding how time space can have more than one axis. Take that principle and pull it out of the box and apply it to real life things. Each thing experiences time, relatively. Each object has a variable mass, whether physical or spiritual or both, which in itself displays a variable gravity.

This is why some people seem to be more magnetic than others, or they seem repulsive. They have relative gravity.

As far as directly effecting entities outside of you, if you are the creator, is there anything actually outside of you?

“…is there an intuitive way to understanding how there can be more than one axis of time?”

I like the book analogy. With little effort, you can flip the pages of a story book and be transported to later or earlier times in the narrative. So, instant access to past and future.

But also, this particular book is not fixed. There is agency (free will) for every character at all times. So, future and past pages are constantly being written by the choices made by our past and future selves, just as we write our own “present” by living our lives.

So, there is instant access to the past and all its alternatives, and to the future and all its alternatives. Possible pasts and possible futures.

This is analogy only, and such a book would be pretty darn hard to read, but it does suggest how 3 temporal dimensions might work.
