This is very interesting, almost seems like this particular portion of contact was either channeled or manipulated by a different entity that was trying to discourage contact with Ra. Regardless, anyone who truly resonates with the Ra material can feel the love coming through the information, not to mention that you are greeted with love and light at the beginning and end of each session. If those words were channeled by Ra then any confusion definitely has to with our lack of an ability to understand oneness and nature of polarity. In one of the Quo channelings, I read an answer to question regarding the relationship of light and love within consciousness. The answer explained that they are one thing and that was impossible to explain in a context that the human mind could truly understand, Quo went to suggest that the best way for us to perceive these concepts is to view consciousness as light that is in vibration, love being vibration. So technically all is love and light, whether a being is service to others, or service to self, further more, service to self transforms into service to others in Ra’s density. Regardless of interpretation, Ra is clearly a being of love, at least as far as we are able to understand love within the illusion

Yes, clearly the Ra group continues to serve others. They are teachers for various other groups. My point, I think, was that at their level the work they are doing is largely concerned with balancing out the energies of Creation, bringing each to a resolution, thus creating a state, no longer of growth, but of stasis. While we are cycling through energetic transformations, they are preparing to retreat from this playground into a place of near absolute balance.

I see what you mean now. And you’re probably right. Though i don’t think that would effect them serving in a way we would perceive as positive, considering the group was calling for positive information. Perhaps if Ra had an opportunity to just speak at will to us without the call/answer format he would speak more of balance and less of service to others.

Without the Ra material Im not sure where I would be on the path, I feel an immense amount of gratitude towards all of the work L&L research has done. Sometimes I think about how many wanderers would still be lost had it not been for Don, Jim and Carla… they have done a tremendous service to this planet and continue to do so.

- Critical Thinking and Skepticism: Criticism or skepticism about the Ra material doesn’t necessarily stem from a lack of understanding or incomplete reading. Some individuals might have a comprehensive grasp of the material but still question its accuracy or intent based on their critical thinking, personal beliefs, or alternative interpretations.
- Memory and Understanding: The statement suggests that fear comes from trying to recall the material from memory alone. However, fear or doubt about the Ra material could also arise from its content or from philosophical or spiritual disagreements, rather than issues with memory or retention.
- Contextual Interpretation: People interpret texts based on their unique contexts, experiences, and backgrounds. What one person finds clear and accurate, another might find confusing or dubious, regardless of how many times they’ve read it.
In short, although I do agree with your comment, it does overlooks individual differences in comprehension, the role of critical thinking, and diverse interpretations of the material.
What I love about the Law of One and the Ra Material is that it is NOT an institution, or a rigorous religious teaching.
It imbues a high level of free will for the reader to interpret and consistently remind them to leave behind what does not resonate.
i.e. Search - L/L Research
Therefore, at the end of the day, each student that is learning from the material are protected by their own discernment.

I don’t have any kind of desire for others to not interpret the material however they see fit. I’ve just come across many people not so much on this forum but in more public places say Reddit for example where I’ve come across posts talking about how Ra Promotes fear or thinks evil is good or some other thing that isn’t actually in the material. So I was less talking about this specific post, as most posts here aren’t of this nature, but mare my anecdotal experience on social media sites.
On those subreddits people will post excerpts from quo or Ra and people will go through and only read those, and then come in with questions or assumptions that don’t make sense since they don’t have the full picture.
It ultimately doesn’t matter because that is their seeking and their necessary path, it was more just thinking out loud.
I’ve had a lot of conversations where I have to post reference after reference trying to to make sense of what they mean because they’re working on incomplete information.

Not at all, and I understand that wasn’t your intention.
It is good to try to provide others an understanding or clearing “their” confusion for them.
But one must realize that in the effort to correct or engage with those who don’t ‘get’ the material on other platforms, one can inadvertently become an ‘expert’ or form a sense of elitism based on the material.
In my previous comment, it wasn’t so much of correcting you or saying that perspective is “wrong.”
It actually encompasses the OP as well in the effort to seek “truth” within the material.
The beauty of it all is that the truth is “within.”
On the other hand,
I do agree with you that it is interesting to see the many forms that arise to discredit the material or undermining it’s message.
If you step into both sides, and fully play the role out on stage, you can see the irony and paradox of the polarities.
Also, it reveals those who are hidden in their turncoat

Oh, you are very very right. It’s actually something that I have been investigating recently. When I was first learning about all of this there were many online strangers who gave me their unique view on the material which spurred my own thought no doubt colored by their perception but nonetheless bringing me closer, not to understanding of any kind but just closer to a bit more peace.
But now that I find myself with a solid foundation from having multiple times through the material I do find myself wanting to help others get through the same hard to navigate passages I had trouble with. But you’re absolutely right it’s so important to always guard your intention.
I have surely replied to some online question with egoic intent. It can be easy to do that. I try to keep it centered on just giving them my current perspective, and telling them it is such, relinquishing all perceived authority and insisting they take what makes sense and leave the rest behind. As well as relinquishing any attachment to an outcome from the interaction l. That helps too

We believe the name Ra was chosen for the challenge it offered. It required her to let go of her Oahspe biases to continue the contact. No, we don’t believe Oahspe to be a particularly trustworthy source of information. We firmly believe that following a set of proscribed rules (a primarily yellow ray / physical focus), regardless of the source, is not a useful tool for spiritual growth.

We were not saying that Carla believed Ra was a negative entity nor implying that we believe Ra to be a negative entity, only that Carla had preconceptions about the name Ra and the authority of Oahspe that needed to be put aside for the sake of the contact. The name “Ra” created exactly this catalyst. Carla could not simultaneously uphold Oahspe as authoritative and accept contact with a being it labeled as evil (a proscribed rule). We have updated the page to make this clearer.
We’re glad you found the site interesting. Regarding the reference (in a reply) of a “loyal companion,” we assure that we have no nefarious intentions and are simply fellow travelers, currently smack in the middle of 3rd density like everyone else on this board, with observations we felt like sharing.
