while I was painting them
into a melodic release

in regards to unpublishing it, it depends on how the scenario plays out, as i feel like the person, the one i think is the source for it’s inspiration, should have a say about if she feels comfortable in leaving it up, if she ever comes forward.

your response is a very good reference in my argument for letting it stay public though, so an extra thank you for that

i tweaked the lyrics and came up with a version i found more appealing, need to wait for the previous version to disappear from Spotify before the new one can go live, will update here when it´s on Youtube :slight_smile:

I managed to sort out the new release in record time, it is live on Youtube now… I´m not sure if you will like it as much, at least not in the context of facebook, might be a little, to much? for that, i´m not sure. might just be that I’m to close to the lyrics.

The initial post in this thread has been updated with the new YouTube link, and the new lyrics are in that post as well.

(edit, after sleeping on it and listening again, i did not feel happy about the delivery in that version, and the lyrics felt a bit out of balance, back to the drawing board :sweat_smile:

I woke up this morning, with a little unsettling feeling in regards to this release.

Something felt sticky about it, like it was an underlying condition, that was pulling me from considering anything else wholeheartedly.

I have not experienced this with any other of the music i have published, and started to study the dynamics in how the “stickiness” was playing out.

I realized that the difference between this track and all the others, was how i approached it.

my passive stance of relations with it, was holding it like some kind of accepted explanation, rather than an inspired consideration.

when i shifted my approach towards the lyrics, and rewrote my initial wording about them to reflect that more accurately.

I now feel much better about the project, and more able to move on from it.

Edit, LoL! Right after posting this, it dawned on me, how this faded over in to the project i started working on the other day, that has an underlying theme of “Moving on” :sweat_smile:
