It echoes the importance of believing in oneself… as when you are ready catalyst will come whether through other person or event or book etc. All is one after all

Wow an amazing way to describe… that two part choice, beyond all other choices. Especially brought together by this line “with such force, such willingness, such a surrender of absolute freedom of will, that you bond your free will in a general way”
And on that note… just have to include this other passage from reading earlier today

Consequently, all statements of judgment of others are made not with the heart, but with the mind and undisciplined free will, for the heart will not judge. The heart will accept and allow the self to be the self, and other selves to be their selves. An there you have it… the last sentences recapitulate it all. Take note as if not consciously already all would have most likely done it unconsciously.
So on that note… why not have a little discussion on the word darkness, a reading that my broaden ones definition and open ones eyes… well not really because its dark but you know

We are those of Q’uo, and are aware of your query, my brother. It is an interesting question and a play with words at the same time to think about the darkness of the unknown and the darkness of negative polarity. Indeed, there is a bias within the general run of entities that would place a negative connotation on the unknown. For that which is not known can easily be feared.
However, the entire spectrum of the spiritual journey takes place in darkness and in the light of the moon. Consequently, all that shall be good as well as all that shall be evil, according to your definitions of good and evil, alike are present in the darkness. This darkness is not a positive condition but rather an absence of light. The unknown seems dark because it is as yet unlit by familiarity, whereas negativity and evil seem dark because they express the utter refusal to let light shine.
The negative mindset is one which is shuttered against the light. For the light cannot be controlled. It is only in the absence of light that control may be had. And so when darkness, in the sense of evil, occurs, it is a darkness of the deliberate shutting out of those things which do not conform to the desired situation or outcome. That chosen darkness, when there is no need for darkness, is different from the darkness of the unknown in that there is a positive choice being made to shut out the light of compassion, inclusivity, and the radiance of love from the self to others. And so that which is dark because it is service-to-self is dark by choice.
However, simply because a choice has been made to deny the light, that does not mean the light does not exist. Consequently, the service-to-self path is a path steeped in illusion and lies. For it is only by denying the truth of light that darkness can prevail. In the end, darkness never prevails. For it cannot put out the light, as the light can and does at last illumine every corner of existence. The eventual ascendancy of light is inevitable.
The service-to-self path is delaying the inevitable moment where light is embraced, whereas the service-to-others polarity is cooperating with that moment and accelerating the pace towards it."
An in those dark times, whether on a self level, group or a national level, a world level or universal level take note and etch these words into the cosmos " The eventual ascendancy of light is inevitable." Now sound the trumpets and let the… hmm mind has gone blank so will stop now

THis sentence right here… “this moderated and undergirded by the constant fact of the Creator as self and as other-self” is the benchmark well the underlying essence if not perceiving other as creator then that is not occuring and distortion an catalyst from that. Importantly to understand this is natural, if not your not being transparent and are caught up on one of the energy centers this natural distortion will happen… eg orange ray then orange ray type thoughts will come eg self to self or self to other self. (Obviously its not always so clear cut as all is connected the other energy centers) its like a feeling of moving a part of your self out of the way that is caught up on one of these energy centers and allowing your full self to emerge. All in a loving way of course. But if you show a reaction then of course more similar thoughts will occur. Until you clear that via mediation or distraction.
Words of course are not sufficient until one experiences it for oneself on a more conscious level, at least a course of direction can be gathered otherwise.

Being a different angle or approach today… here is the sentences that lead up to the quote above

The last part is talking about a spiritual path carried by the intellect alone, whereas the daily quote talks about that essential role of faith, which does not come from the intellect.
Now lets skip ahead to what follows the daily quote…

Forgiveness is mentioned as a key because I assume from common sense that all being a distortion from being one infinite creator, anytime the distortion is encouraged and amplified its important to practice forgiveness and understand its the way of confusion, or law of free will, it will happen, how could it not in third density… so love laugh about it forgive and move on

It is not necessary to have a happy ending in order to have good communication. Nor is it necessary to have the opposite to have a seeming tangle and disagreement and one entity prevail over another. These dynamics are dynamics of illusion. That which is valuable is the spirit within each of the parties who communicate so that if left to choose between someone who says all of the right words and someone who is able in any way to enter into the respect of the infinite qualities of the self and other self, we would choose every time that fool who was not communicating with particular skill but who was receiving communication and offering communication in the humble awareness of the infinite qualities of self and of other self.
A growing awareness of this nature of hidden things in the most simple communication is very helpful to the developing spirit.
