Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine. I’m really happy to be here and to connect with everyone. ![]()
My question is probably quite simple, but I reckon I’ll explore it in quite a convoluted way. But I’d be very keen to get your opinions and thoughts, or if I could be signposted to any other material that might give me a bit more clarity.
I am really interested in the idea of exploration, creativity, and play between incarnations. The session from November 19 2000 with Q’uo is very helpful in showing the whole ‘process’ between death and our next incarnation, but it’s the in-between I’m very interested in. Q’uo (and many others) talk about rest and healing in ‘hospital’ settings or taking up ‘jobs’. I’m sure the feeling of these places and these 'jobs’ are incredibly nourishing and healing, so I’m not disregarding the importance of them.
To me, or my ego-self, play and exploration is a part of healing. To create and explore nourishes me as I am naturally curious and adventurous. It makes me feel excited yet calm at the same time. I’m sure others feel the same whenever we use different outlets of escapism, writing stories or watching films etc. I feel I have heard (not necessarily from any of the material) that during this healing or in-between period, you can essentially do what you wish. Whatever feels most exciting at that point in time. This could be creating simulated worlds and experiences to explore in any format, in any body, in any time, on any planet. Not an incarnation, but an experience of ‘roleplay’.
For example, let’s say I loved Batman (just came to my head, no judgment if this world doesn’t sound accurate lol)! If it sounded exciting at that time, theoretically, I could create a simulated Gotham, fly around and explore every nook and cranny. Maybe I could experience defeating an enemy. Maybe I could experience saving a civilian. Or maybe I could be someone who isn’t Batman, just somebody who lived in Gotham, going around day-to-day, exploring, getting the FEELING of experiencing this in this simulated environment. Perhaps I’d want to experience being a snow leopard and prowl through the Himalayas. Perhaps I’d want to experience being an opera singer and performing a sold-out show as a unicorn. You get the gist. Anything and everything, fictional or non-fictional in a simulated environment that can be stopped as soon as it isn’t exciting or it’s satiated that curiosity.
Why not incarnate into these experiences? Because it’s not there to be a lesson and to be of service. There’s nothing to learn aside from just enjoying the simulated reality and this in-between period. There is no pressure to be, do, or act in any way. You just heal and play. Even if I decided to experience a great interplanetary war that was violent, it wouldn’t be too scary or cause any trauma to my soul because I would KNOW it was simulated. Much like you put on a VR headset and explore a haunted house; you might scream and jump but you can take off the headset at any time and be perfectly fine.
Q’uo says “This healing process is very much under the free choice of the spirit that is undergoing the healing.”. So, if we think about free will, then yes, this should be possible. I doubt there will be someone wagging their finger and saying ‘no no, this isn’t how you should heal, it isn’t allowed’. And surely creativity, expression, adventure and play are positive things, exciting things? Maybe I am just thinking about limitation or an order to things too much. It seems childish to want to experience playing and exploring in your own worlds, but it seems very exciting to me. And is being childish a negative thing? I don’t really think so.
I’d love to know your thoughts and opinions. Thank you for reading my question. Love and light to you. ![]()
