Hello everyone.
I recently had a question about the true nature of worship.
I understand that those who love others never ask to be worshipped, so ¿Why do we have to worship God or the Creator? ¿What is the true nature of worship? I don’t understand.
Hello, it’s a problem of semantic communication. As RA mention, language has trouble communicating what you really want to say.
When RA talks about worshiping the infinite creator, he’s talking about enjoying your life and bringing joy to the small moments. Let’s say you like to paint. Many mention that they feel they connect with something divine. This is the answer. Worshiping the infinite creator is enjoying creation. You decide how to do it: dance, make food, play, compete, work in something that brings you joy. That’s the answer. It’s not important what color you paint with, but that you enjoy making your gift to the infinite creator. Your joy is what adores the creator, mainly the pleasure and enjoyment in what is created.
It’s not about worshipping an entity, it’s a state of gratitude and pleasure, where you feel euphoria for worshipping creation.
Hi there, @Francisco, welcome to this virtual place.
Worship is a form of experiencing being saturated with love. It’s a way of resting in the deeper areas of self and bringing that deep love back into ordinary life.
This is a link to a Q’uo session on the topic. Below is the beginning.
You ask about worship. We find that worship is a daunting word in your society. Worship denotes that which takes place within an acceptable church or temple. Worship is that which is finite. Worship is that which is ritualized, and so forth. In this way, many of those who are unable to deal with the proliferation of doctrine and dogma in settled religions find that they have lost the ability to worship, for they have lost their innocence, shall we say, and no longer believe that the Creator is separate and far apart from Its creation. Each seeker becomes aware subjectively that the Creator is imminent and at all times with each seeking entity. It is the entity’s decision to open the door to Love.
