a while back, not to long ago. I was forced to activate two step authentication. While the reason for this is fairly obvious, I think it’s appropriate to post a clarification about it. Feel free to chime in adimn

Sorry about that.
I am on vacation until monday.
But the reason is that we are under a spam bomb attack with hundreds of spam accounts being created.
Two-factor auth was an attempt to stop those attacks.
It did not work. So I have removed the requirement for two-factor auth.
Feel free to disable it if it bothers you and again sorry about that.

I think it’s good practice to use whenever available and I’m happy to do so.
There was some forum activity that hinted the reason behind its implementation, but it still felt like something worth bringing into the open and being transparent about
