We evacuated on Tuesday, we live in a little street off Mandeville Canyon we have been there since 1983 at a time when the canyon was very normal families and it is still full of normal families. There are some wealthy people who arrived but the majority of families are normal people., we are a tight little community. There is a WhartsApp chat closed community to us and the amount of information and help, where to donate books for schools, clothes or any donations, even though we all are still evacuated, and measures to take care for houses and vegetations if we keep our homes, this little chat community is awesome. We left open our house open so firemen could rest and a friend vet passed by and there was a note of thanks from the firemen…
The amount of grassroot help all over the city, all over the city, I mean this is so extraordinary. to see.
The firemen and pilots are…
My daughter , who is 40, had a friend in fifth grade, that little girl became a fireman in Idaho, they were detached to LA and came with 5 firetrucks all the way, she ended fighting the brush around our canyon while her own child home was destroyed in Pacific Palisades, talk about heroes…
Oh I am sorry I forgot Passer-by I was just writing baoput how people reacted. So sorry I didnt mean to offset the topic at all and comparing what we who through and Gaza…
So sorry.
I am really sorry, Passer-by, I am originally French and what happened in Gaza is found by most of us in Europe one of the most horrific things of recent.
Hard to fathom how Netanyahu could even figure this.
lol, I am not a muslin too, it is just that the way they have been treated since the late forties in Palestine has been tragic. The ones who have been brutalized brutalized on their turn.
Justice will be served in the end., but there was also so many associations of Palestinians/Israelis working for peace. There was one where parents of both sides with children killed would step over border lines to give blood to the other side. Probably doesn’t exist anymore, it will come back somehow.
At the moment, as it is now, we have a mostly defenseless population against a very well armed genocidal army with unlimited funding and weapons by the US (and Europe).
Those are the facts.
We’ll reminisce later about one, or maybe two or three Israelis with a conscience.
Hatred and fear need an ‘enemy’, without any ‘enemy’ (subject to fear and hate) it will be tough to sell fear and hatred to the masses. Thus the reason why I state Likud and Hamas vibrating at the same frequency, they basically need each others in order to exist and thrive.
Both Likud and Hamas are opposing the same thing, they both oppose two state solution, what they both want is one state/race solution, the difference merely lies on which one, Likud wanted Israel wherein the Jewish race gain superiority, Hamas wanted Palestine wherein Arab race gain superiority.
“Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas … This is part of our strategy – to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank.”
– Benjamin Netanyahu, March 2019
The existence of powerful Hamas in Palestine will make Likud gained stronger support in Israel and vice-versa; the existence of powerful Likud in Israel will make Hamas gained stronger support in Palestine.
The above pattern is also observable in many other parts of the world, that’s basically how STS groups operate and thrive.
The not-so-secret history of Netanyahu’s support for Hamas
To try and paint the almost 80 decade long oppression, persecution, displacement and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israelis as two opposing STS groups, is either intellectual dishonesty on your part, or simply ignorance.
Which is why I suggested the books for you to read.
As for Netanyahu suddenly becoming the face of all that’s wrong with Israel now that discomfort is setting in amongst Israeli supporters with a genocide being broadcast live on social networks, this is also incorrect. While he’s pretty evil and cunning, this has been going on for decades before his arrival on the scene.
Israelis don’t disapprove of him due to his position vis-à-vis Palestinians, with that they agree. A poll in 2024 in Israel showed that 80% of Israelis believe that not enough force is used in Gaza.
I believe the truth matters, and this conflict is a topic where propaganda, disinformation and lies have reigned supreme for far too long.
The Israeli Army vs. Hamas is like STS vs. STS. However, when it comes to the Israeli Army vs. the people of Palestine, it’s apartheid.
I can believe it. I once watched a video by an independent YouTuber who approached Israelis and asked them about their opinions on Palestine and their government’s actions. I was shocked to realize that many ordinary people harbor a lot of hatred toward Palestinians. It’s not just the Israeli government and army that are antagonistic to Palestinians, but also many so-called ‘ordinary people.’
Indeed. Gideon Levy who writes for Haaretz and who has being fighting for Palestinian human rights his whole life once said “the amount of Israelis who feel like I do can fit into a phone booth”.
Far right Israelis vs Far Right Palestinian.
Likud et. al. vs Hamas is STS vs STS, they share similar objective and vibrating similar vibe as I mentioned above.
Not all soldiers within Israeli armed forces shared similar vibe, due to conscription. An example: There’s an officer, an Arab medic officer within Israeli armed forces who sacrificed himself being captured and brutally murdered by a group of incoming Hamas fighters in order to give time for some Israeli civilians to escape. That’s an STO deed.
This classic Zen story show how STO “fights” the STS.
A village was warned that a vicious warlord and his soldiers were coming to rob the village, so they all fled. All except one old monk, that is, who stayed meditating in the temple.
When the warlord came in and saw him, he drew his sword, pointed it at his heart and said angrily,
“You stupid Monk! Don’t you know I can run you through without batting an eye?!”
The monk looked up at him and calmly replied,
“And don’t you know that I can be run through without batting an eye?”
Another example is how Jesus “fights his enemies” who conspired against him.
I do find it peculiar how you refer to the consciousness of enlightened individuals and apply it to the masses.
And if you are going to brand Hamas as STS, then you’ll have to brand every resistance movement in history as STS, including uMkhonto we Sizwe, the military wing of the ANC under Nelson Mandela, fighting apartheid.
I guess Mandela should have ignored the cries of his people, and be “run through without batting an eye.”
I guess tens of millions are grateful today that he didn’t follow your advice… In fact, it was precicely a terrorist act (the Church street bomb), which spelled the beggining of the end of apartheid. Perhaps your sweeping STS and STO designations needs some revision…
The way of the martyr lacks wisdom, as Ra pointed out in the case of Jesus.
Smc is made up of individual entities/identities.
3rd density (virtual) world offered an ample opportunities for entity to polarize further towarda STO(Love/Compassion) or STS(Hatred/Fear). Both are equally valid path.
Yes martyrdom lack wisdom, thus the reason why balancing love with wisdom is put as part of syllabus to be learned in 5th density, for those who took the STO path.
Thanks for the explanation of STO and STS, I had no idea…
And balancing love and wisdom is 3rd density through to 6th density work, as per the Ra material, and one of the main reasons wanderers come to 3rd density.
My feeling for the most part on your responses, is using confederation philosophy in such a pompous way as you are doing, and ignoring the plight of people being ethnically cleanced, is something I find unsettling, to say the least.
Similar discussion i had when discussing the zen monk and warlord story. There is no right or wrong anyone free to put forth proper reaction to the provided catalyst, the reaction will then resulted in certain nudge within the spectrum of polarities.
The monk, without attachment, knew very well that this realm is an illusion thus do not fear death. The warlord with its strong attachment, fear death to the bone. Neither are right or wrong.
