Hello friends and fellow seekers,

I’d like to share a 17-minute audiovisual contemplation I recently completed called “Here I Am / I Am Here.”

It was written and composed as an open-ended “art of the heart”, an exploration of liberating visual and linguistic stimulation, and a moment of rest in the circulation of creation. Intended as a ‘daydream’ rather than a doctrine.

This video is not monetized (and videos that are viewed directly in the forum do not generate streams)

I would suggest remove the ‘part 1’ , ‘part 2’ words from the show, if not also the titles of the parts. That may improve the sequences flowing together.

At the start, the word tribute is missing an e.

Would you consider modifying the bit about logic departs? Perhaps “deeper than logic charts”, rather than logic departs. Why should logic depart, when it is cooperating seamlessly? Complimentary, not contradictory.

I am sorry but for me there was no soul, just a little too much AI generated, non sequitur feeling to tit. I wish no harm with this critique, please understand. I just have a preference for something other than ai, something closer to a Town Crier shouting 'hear ya, hear ye! Eat vegetables to nourish your totality! They provide the muscles of the mind and body with support and valuable nutrients! Something obvious, but so often ignored, forgotten or misunderstood.

Simple service brings me at-one-ment [1].

You made fair points that offered catalyst of much value.

My favorite part was your note on “logic departs.” It sent me down a rabbit hole of re-examining the nature of logic, especially dissolving the connection to realism in the classical “Mr. Spock” archetype where logic is divorced from feeling. In reality, decision-making and universal balance require that emotional valence; without feeling, pure analytical logic gets stuck in an infinite loop of pros and cons.

For that sequence:

I still feel an appealing resonance with letting the rhythm and feeling of the phrase get priority over what is logically sound in linear experience. (much like a daydream breaking standard linear rules). But I really enjoyed contemplating your illuminated angle of seamless cooperation! In the majority of contexts, I agree full heartedly. Yin/Yang logic, now that’s my cup of tea :grin:

I also appreciate the spell-check on the missing ‘e’ in “tribute.” I animated all the text manually, including the lyrics (Tedious but rewarding), and to fix that single letter, I’d have to reactivate a paused subscription. For now, I’ll just treat it as a deliberate beauty mark :wink:

As for the AI medium and the abstract style, I completely understand it can be a bit of an acquired taste. When navigating generative art, the lens we bring often defines whether a piece feels flat or resonant. At the same time, I deeply respect your call for the “Town Crier” reminding us to eat our vegetables, there is beauty and grounding in direct, simple service to our totality.

P.S. / Edit: I’d like to add that every image and animation was directed through intentional vision, manual syncing, and deliberate effort, not just tossing music into an AI slot machine service :sweat_smile:

AI can be approached like throwing a bucket of paint at a canvas (which can be fun to do every now and then), or used for intricate, delicate detail work, and everything in-between :slight_smile:

I am grateful you were sensible in evaluating my input. I have been a little bit off of late, and felt I may have unintentionally exposed you to some of my own fear, I wasn’t ready to balance. I’ll do some more work within, and close the escaping projections and prejudices. I don’t feel threatened by ai, and your skilled use of it, and my dislike of it can be amicable. We can continue to get along, like carrots and tomatoes!
