The different densities are located along the negentropy line. What is negentropy? One way of defining negentropy is:

In my diagram negentropy is the combination of complexity and information. The random noise in the diagram represents a state of entropy (disorder) with high complexity and without information. The opposite of that is the example of a digital file in the diagram which has lots of information and without complexity.
Increasing density in the diagram means an increase of both complexity and information. In first density minerals have some complexity and structured information. In second density animals and plants have more complexity and structured information. Third density has even more complexity and structured information and so on up to seventh density and after that a new octave begins.
In service-to-others there is a harmonious development into higher densities. In service-to-self there is lack of harmony and instead friction and conflict producing spiritual entropy (disorder/randomness).
Lol Anders, at first, looking at your first post, I was thinking, but is there complexity/disorders in a way since all paths are allowed and imperfection is an illusion… lol
But then looking at your second post, to have introuced the service to self made your diagram then totally clearer.
Because I am dense I am still struggling al little about negentropy and family coupled together
I found that negentropy is defined differently in different situations, but the common theme is that it’s order instead of its opposite entropy which is disorder. Loosely speaking a family with negentropy is more orderly and harmonious than a family that has entropy which means a more disorderly state.
In physics entropy also means disorder. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the same as randomness. Physicist Leonard Susskind said that entropy is simply hidden information. This means that what appears as randomness may be hidden order. It’s consistent with my diagram. Complexity with zero information can be seen as the same as the information being hidden. Sure, on a surface level it looks like randomness while at a deeper level it too is a part of a perfectly ordered creation.
I love Ra’s explanation and metaphor of “becoming able to grasp the needle, shall we say, and point the compass in one direction”. This one direction is the service-to-others direction where the actions become unified and harmonized.
13.23Questioner: How does a third-density planet become a fourth-density?
Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last full question.
The fourth density is, as we have said, as regularized in its approach as the striking of a clock upon the hour. The space/time of your solar system has enabled this planetary sphere to spiral into space/time of a different vibrational configuration. This causes the planetary sphere to be able to be molded by these new distortions. However, the thought-forms of your people during this transition period are such that the mind/body/spirit complexes of both individual and societies are scattered throughout the spectrum instead of becoming able to grasp the needle, shall we say, and point the compass in one direction.
Thus, the entry into the vibration of love, sometimes called by your people the vibration of understanding, is not effective with the present societal complex. Thus, the harvest shall be such that many will repeat the third-density cycle. The energies of your Wanderers, your teachers, and your adepts at this time are all bent upon increasing the harvest. However, there are few to harvest.
I learned somewhere that a single cell in the human body has the complexity of a whole city. And a single cell is maybe even more advanced than that as science and biology discover more and more details about cells.
Technology is much simpler (less complex) than biology. On the other hand technology is orderly and precise.
Another power of technology is that much of it improves at an exponential (accelerating) rate. And technology is getting more and more complex on smaller and smaller scales. In transhumanism there is the idea that technologies such as biotech and nanotech will be able to improve the human body and even make us live forever.

Does this mean that technology can replace spiritual evolution? No, not as I see it. Because even if technology would become even more advanced than biology it will still be limited to the laws of nature and the material that the technology is made of. When we move into fourth density, our biology will become even more advanced and the technology will lag behind in development. The reason for this is that with mind being the source of reality as Ra and others have explained, technology is always a secondary result on the physical level.
Ra said that 51% service-to-others is enough for positive harvest.
17.31Questioner: Thank you very much. I don’t wish to take up extra time by asking questions over again. Some are so important I try to ask some similar questions in different ways to expand on the answer. Seems to be [inaudible] what we’re getting at, maybe not.
In the book Oahspe it states that if an individual is more than fifty percent for others— that is, goes over the 50% service to others, and is less than fifty percent for service to self, then he is harvestable. Is this a correct statement?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct if the harvesting is to be for the positive fourth dimensional level.
And for negative harvest 95% service-to-self is needed.
17.32Questioner: What must be the entity’s percentage, shall we say, if he is to be harvested for the negative?
Ra: I am Ra. The entity who wishes to pursue the path of service to self must attain a grade of five, that is five percent service to others, ninety-five percent service to self. It must approach totality. The negative path is quite difficult to attain harvestability upon and requires great dedication.
This can be explained I think with the compass analogy. A service-to-others of 51% or more will move the needle towards the negentropy line, the optimal direction for increasing the density. Service-to-self on the other hand will have to struggle a lot in order to increase the density.
Being 100% service-to-others is the fastest path towards harvest. However, I see a huge risk of doing that from a service-to-self perspective. For example trying to be of service to everyone, almost like in a manipulative way in order to boost oneself spiritually. That will backfire in my opinion and turn into a service-to-self path and a misalignment with the negentropy line for optimal density increase.
The practice I’m trying is the opposite of trying myself to be of service to others and instead relax my mind. And to let myself align to the negentropy line effortlessly. The idea is to connect to my higher self to naturally “pull” me towards harvest. The higher self is according to Ra one’s future self.
70.9Questioner: I think I have an erroneous concept of the mind/body/spirit complex, for instance, that I represent here in this density and my higher self. The concept probably comes from my concept of space and time. I am going to try to unscramble it. The way I see it right now is that I am existing in two different locations, here and in mid-sixth density, simultaneously. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. You are existing at all levels simultaneously. It is specifically correct that your higher self is you in mid-sixth density and, in your way of measuring what you know of as time, your higher self is your self in your future.
Our higher self is already at a higher density(ies)! It may seem puzzling that there can be two wills operating at the same time. The higher self guides one’s current self when asked. Ra explains it:
70.11Questioner: Would an analogy for this situation be that the individual’s higher self is manipulating to some extent, shall I say, the mind/body/spirit complex that is its analog, you might say, to move it through the lower densities for purposes of gaining experience and then finally transferring that experience or amalgamating it, you might say, in mid-sixth density with the higher self?
Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The Higher Self does not manipulate its past selves. It protects when possible and guides when asked, but the force of free will is paramount. The seeming contradictions of determinism and free will melt when it is accepted that there is such a thing as true simultaneity. The Higher Self is the end result of all the development experienced by the mind/body/spirit complex to that point.
Edit: Ha! I now realized a secret. Maybe I should avoid mentioning it. Well, it’s not really a secret since it’s possible to puzzle it together from what the Law of One says, so I can as well mention it.
One’s higher self is one’s future individual self as Ra said. And also, one’s higher self is also the social memory complex in the future! This means that when a person asks for guidance from his or her higher self, that also includes guidance from the entire future social memory complex.
So Anders, you keeping to this view of the higher self being the future self…

I see this, perhaps a little bit differently, or not , who knows.
I am doing the following hypothesis leaning on the readings of Michael Newton’s books, (. I am a groupie ) on what his patients relate while accounting what they live and. see in time/space.
It would mean that young new souls created are the full children of Creator/ Creatrix, and this way, have all the attributes and knowledge in, but the path is to incarnate and pass from density to density, ( although some second density may decide to stay in second density ? ) and in this way transfer into space/time following different and numerous incarnations, but the soul itself , to higher Self, is and remains as created. So in this hypothesis, the higher Self is all the time there, it may show as complete in a future incarnation as a future self but the Self then already exists as perfect as is.
So sorry,… I am not in fact disbelieving your insight, at all I think I am just looking at it from a different angle…
I like L. Susskind’s ideas) This morning I was thinking about Spinoza’s thinking and extension, that the spirit can be a transmitter of information, or a shuttle, as Ra says. All beings operate with data and information, turning it into knowledge/wisdom

Ra talked about the higher self as the end result of the self. I guess Ra means the end in this octave because I don’t think the self suddenly ends.
And higher self to me means all the future selves! And as Ra said the higher self is present now simultaneously with our present self. And actually, all the past selves I believe are also present now.
I haven’t looked into Spinoza’s ideas. Could be interesting to investigate and compare. I see Ra’s concept of density as having different information content. The higher the density the more information.
Being 100% service-to-others I see as impossible in third density without a social memory complex. Because “moving the needle in the same direction” of the compass means everybody aligned with the same self, and only a social memory complex can do that as I see it.
For us in third density we can do things like starting with 51% service to others and expand and explore that. Or my approach of relaxing the mind and allow the service to arise without thinking or planning beforehand. That’s more of a spiritual mindfulness approach.
Ra: I am Ra. The mind/body/spirit complex of third density has perhaps one hundred times as intensive a program of catalytic action from which to distill distortions and learn/teachings than any other of the densities.
In third density we have a lot of service-to-self forces. These can function as catalysts.

Service-to-self results in a lot of friction, spiritual entropy, like how in physics friction causes heat which means entropy. Then why not just move from the negative polarity of service-to-self to the positive polarity? Because that’s easier said than done. In my diagram the positive polarity is defined by the negentropy line. And if as I see it only a service-to-others social memory complex can move fully along that line, in general all activities done by us individuals in third density result in friction.
This means that most of our activities in third density are that of struggle and conflict. And our human history on earth is a clear indication of that. Massive amount of struggle and conflict throughout all of officially known human history. It may seem like a “mistake made by God” with all that mess, but as Ra pointed out, and as explained in the L/L Research FAQ, there is a purpose of all that friction to act as catalysts for us humans to develop towards higher densities.
One potential good thing by seeing this is the possibility of consciously moving more towards the positive polarity. Instead of instinctual reactions to the negative polarity we can recognize that our own attacks and conflicts will keep us stuck in the negative polarity. Of course suppressing conflict can be detrimental too, and instead the conflicts within oneself can be used as conscious catalysts by accepting them and at the same time recognizing that they indicate that we are still stuck in negative polarity. The negative polarity then becomes a learning tool for moving us up in density, first into higher third densities and then into fourth density.
Having to deal with negative polarity catalysts is tedious and often even a cause of suffering. A positive catalyst would be one that pulls the individual towards the positive polarity (the negentropy line in my diagram). And there is a concept in the Law of One that seems to be about that called spiritual gravity.
29.20Questioner: Thank you. Then when our planet Earth here gets fully into fourth density, will there be a greater gravity?
Ra: I am Ra. There will be a greater spiritual gravity thus causing a denser illusion.
Spiritual gravity is related to spiritual mass according to Ra.

Spiritual mass is that which begins to attract the out-moving and ongoing vibratory oscillations of beingness into the gravity, speaking in a spiritual sense, well of the great central sun, core, or Creator of the infinite universes.
And since the creation is evolving into higher densities, spiritual gravity is the pull that produces this ongoing increase in density. I heard that earth itself is already in fourth density, so earth as I see it already has that greater spiritual mass than our third density civilization. A positive catalyst is then to align oneself with the spiritual gravity of earth. How to do that? One way of doing that is to allow one’s own inner conflicts to dissolve, to melt the inner tensions in body and mind.
The term “service” will likely take on a different meaning in higher densities. When technology becomes advanced enough with things like automation, robotics and artificial intelligence, then all forms of material services can be done by technology, making even money optional. With material abundance and with all practical tasks taken care of the term service becomes more a a social function.
In this way I think the term negentropy is better for the overall picture of densities, since it includes service-to-others on the level of third density and also includes more than that. Negentropy means as I use it here a state of harmony, order and wholeness.
Then what about service-to-self in higher densities? That’s hardly harmony. It is possible to include that in my diagram by higher densities being possible in my diagram outside of the negentropy line, it’s just that the service-to-self path requires much more effort because of all the conflicts and friction associated with the negative polarity.
What does service–to-self mean in higher densities? I don’t know, but one possibility is that even with technology doing all the practical service for them, they may still be unable to unite socially into a positively polarized social memory complex.
It seems difficult to know how higher densities will be experienced. Ra talks about fourth density as “It is not of heavy chemical vehicles for body complex activities” and “it is a plane of a type of bipedal vehicle which is much denser and more full of life”.
With my definition a much denser body means that it has higher complexity and information content. And bodies not made of heavy chemicals means that in fourth density there will be another form of physical matter! I think in terms of transcend and include, so that in fourth density physical matter can behave like third density matter and also in more advanced ways than that.
