Q’uote of the Day

" As you continually offer yourselves as instruments of the Creator’s love and peace, you shall find great aid in several things. Firstly, you shall find enormous help in entering the silence. The tremendous learnings and new awarenesses with which this time is so rich, to those who have ears to hear and hearts to understand, offer you many gifts…Just as sleep offers rest to the physical body that it may reset its systems…and restore the body to the balance which is its best balance for continued life and growth, just so entering the silence gives your metaphysical body, the energy body, the time of rest and recuperation that it needs from the hustle and bustle of incoming catalyst and hard-won victories. It allows new learnings to be seated in the subconscious mind. It allows new balances to be confirmed and implemented…and it resets the system at its best tuning. "
That is such a nice surmise of silence, of course theres much more important benefities but just to recall this “Just as sleep offers rest to the physical body that it may reset its systems…and restore the body to the balance which is its best balance for continued life and growth, just so entering the silence gives your metaphysical body, the energy body, the time of rest and recuperation that it needs”
At first it may seem unnatural but as you increasingly become accustomed to silence, you notice just how necessarily it is alongside sleep for physical health the latter for spiritual health. Its an easy test to see.. just deliberately do not enter silence keep the mind busy, keep along the chain of thoughts an expanding them, encouraging more and more thinking and notice that way how it feels to not have silence, whether it be 10 minutes, 1 hour or a day or whatever you are accustomed to periods of entering silence, or habits.
More to that quote "You may think of yourself in this wise as a spiritual athlete—one who is in training. Entering the silence is the equivalent of exercise. Some are so fit by nature for this task that they are drawn to the silence irresistibly and for those we have few words, for your hunger and your thirst shall bring you into the silence again and again.
For others, there is not the personality that must seek silence. There is rather the sturdiness within physical life which enables the energy body to flow from good work to good work, from doing to doing to doing again, without a conscious awareness that there is a need to let it all go, to empty the hands that may be grasping the highest of ideals but perhaps holding them too tightly. And to those we would encourage blind faith and the movement into silence regardless of the feeling of rightness."
One metaphor is likening it to a clench fist, the mind when caught up in thoughts, in a certain action of doing or purpose.. the unclenching, relaxed hand when in silence.. Its easy especially being in that masculine reaching energy to having that feeling of a clenching first for a mind latching on to one doing after another.. Learn that balance of uncleching to let go, to embrace un-doing, the being and give the brain a rest.
“it is becoming more widely known among many of those of your peoples who are becoming conscious of the evolutionary process at this time that the brain which you have in your illusion has the division of lobe that corresponds to both the intellectual and to the mode of perception that is active or male, shall we say, and there is the lobe of the brain which is more concerned with the female qualities, that which awaits the reaching and that which partakes of non-logical or intuitional inspiration.”
Of course you can completely embody one aspect in a mated relationship and be balanced by the opposite in a partner..
Digressing here, back to silence here is other words to perceive what is being said
“We encourage all movements into silence, whether they be called meditation or simply sitting and soaking in the now. In any case, there is a release involved, a release of control, a surrender to the will that is the Creator’s and at the same time the heart of self’s will.”
Often with quotes and words, having the same thing said in different ways to align with ones perceptions or beliefs, distortions is most helpful. Its like a move the same story line.. one set in ancient history, recent history now or the future which will catch ones eye the most.. Well with me ancient history of course but that is a bias I have. Although because of this knowledge I ensure its not a limiting factor an keep mind for whatever pathway is best.
Well today there has been differing paths of thought and learnings, although its all relating to that reaching and unreaching… an whatever bias we have to accommodate both.
