I feel like one of more fun ways to open the green ray energy center is to laugh. I always found comedic genius in those who turn their talent for singing into making a much deeper point, hidden away underneath the humor.

These songs always make me laugh so hard I can’t help but be in a good mood. I have a very strange sense of humor, so just a reminder that these might not resonate with everyone.

FYI, most are a bit vulgar so if you are offended by swearing, I wouldn’t recommend them. But if you can laugh at these things, then these might just make your day.

Some new funny stuff I felt worth sharing. I’ve always been a big fan of The Lonely Island, I’ve been listening to them since they were fairly new.

This one was featured in Andy Samberg’s movie, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping

And this came out on YouTube the other day.

I got a lot of good laughs out of this. It has a vibe to it though that I can’t quite place…

I find this specifically hilarious right now because I am taking college classes to become a substance abuse counselor and the class I am in now is all about the screenings and assessments (and is a REALLY boring class) and we have to practice using the screenings in mock sessions and record the sessions as practice. With my one last week my best friend was being my “patient” and I started reading off the list of drugs for the screening and he says “oh yes, all of those please. I’d prefer it all in one IV but I understand if you have to do them one at a time.” I was trying so hard to keep a straight face but just couldn’t’ do it. So the first part of the video recording I’m just laughing uncontrollably and we had to start over four different times.

Haha, I was a Corpsman in the Navy. We had a guy needed a physical, told him he had to fast for twelve hours, only drink water. He asks if vodka is ok. We’re like no, its alcohol you gotta fast. In all seriousness he replies, but its clear like water. SMDH…
