STS and STO, are twisted?

Okay. I’m not a native speaker, and I’m not particularly good at languages. I have to deal with various uncertainties when I discuss something and sometimes make generalizations or other ways of dealing with it. I sometimes have problems expressing myself precisely.

So here in our discussion I probably may not express myself well enough. But I think it is important to draw what we can from our discussion, allowing for the fact that we will not be sure of certain things or some differences will arise.

I completely understand. I am guilty of mixing things up as well. Nonetheless, I am glad we are here talking and learning from one another! Thank you!

I have landed in ‘the path of inclusion’ and ‘the path of exclusion’ as more appropriate titles to what is implied in the context of STO and STS.

after the discussion in this thread the labels of STO and STS fell apart like a house of cards for me, as neither being inherently negative or positive without additional context. The path of inclusion and exclusion does not really need additional information to be understood as inherently positive and negative.

So I’ve putt that in my pocket and moved on
