Truth Dependent on Belief Is Not

I like the feeling of balance in this statement and felt inspired to share, open for discussion, of course

Truth that is dependent on my belief is not all that true. Meanwhile, disbelieving what is obviously true takes far more effort than simply accepting the self-explanatory phenomena in question

How do you understand this part of the phrase?

Very softly…

On a practical level it can be obviously true that I need to change a tire, or tend to myself or my relationships.

While on a more abstract level I do enjoy revoking all previous statements and beginning anew, letting fresh considerations sprout out of the mulch from what was previously stated, or simply letting the vibe speak for itself…

This reminds me of a spoken word track I wrote a while back:

Pairing words with phenomena
helps us navigate
and communicate.
while explaining away
the mystery of it all
invites delusion

what are delusions?
delusions are conclusions
that get us out of sync
with reality
out of tune with totality

every conclusion
comes with the risk
of delusion
a risk
we sometimes need to take
when it comes down to functionality
in the realm of reality
we partake

While I remain inconclusive
at my core
being an unresolved mystery
keeps me open
for more

Bound to freedom
Liberated by limitations,
even the mundane
is teeming with strangeness

LoL, I really liked this linguistic equation, it feels musical in its nature, and as they say; math and music are two sides of the same coin

Working with inconclusive conclusions
softens our delusions
