75.32 Questioner: The three aspects of the magical personality are stated to be power, love, and wisdom. Is this correct and are these the only primary aspects of the magical personality?

Ra: I am Ra. The three aspects of the magical personality, power, love, and wisdom, are so called in order that attention be paid to each aspect in developing the basic tool of the adept; that is, its self. It is by no means a personality of three aspects. It is a being of unity, being of sixth density and equivalent to what you call your higher self and, at the same time, is a personality enormously rich in variety of experience and subtlety of emotion.
The three aspects are given that the neophyte not abuse the tools of its trade but rather approach those tools balanced in the center of love and wisdom and thus seeking power in order to serve.

75.36 Questioner: How does the use of the magical ritual of invoking the magical personality aid the mind/body/spirit complex totality? Could you expand on the answer you gave in the last session with respect to that?

Ra: I am Ra. When the magical personality is properly and efficaciously invoked the self has invoked its Higher Self. Thus a bridge betwixt space/time and time/space is made and the sixth-density magical personality experiences directly the third-density catalyst for the duration of the working. It is most central to deliberately take off the magical personality after the working in order that the Higher Self resume its appropriate configuration as analog to the space/time mind/body/spirit.

Hello fellow seekers. As you can see from Ra’s message, developing the magical personality is not only positively beneficial for connecting with our Higher Self, but also aids our mind/body/spirit complex totality.

Here is an exerpt from “The Magician: His Training and Work” by WE Butler

***In order to build a balanced magical personality, construct it around the three basic aspects of life: Power, Love, and Wisdom. Take each one in turn and use it as the central idea in your meditation on THE MAGICAL PERSONALITY.

For example, for the Power aspect:
"I am meditating on Power - with a capital P. Why a capital? Because all manifestations of energy are individual expressions of the one energy lying behind them all. The flaming crater of the volcano, the tempest-torn ocean’s mountainous waves, the hurricane’s devastating fury, the avalanche’s roaring tenor - all are expressions of primal energy. So too are the manifestations of power in life’s realms - the mastodon’s strength, the great saurians’ power, the lion’s fury, and the conquering spirits of individuals who alter nations’ destinies.

All these are but partial manifestations of the Strength guiding Arcturus and his sons, upholding all creation by the might of its Power. And I, a son of earth, feeble and ignorant, am also of the race of the Starry Heavens, a spark of that Mighty Flame, and within me also resides that Power. I aspire towards that radiant Source of all Power. O Thou, the Eternal, Whose spark dwells within me, I strive to realize Thee within myself. May Thy Power descend upon me and work through me, that Thy Will may be done, and Thy Plan brought to its culmination within me. To the Greater, I submit."

This is a rough draft of such a meditation, but the idea will be clear. Similarly, meditations should be made on the other two aspects - Love and Wisdom. In all these meditations, the aim should be a realization of the unity of all manifestations of the particular aspect under consideration, followed by an aspiration towards union with that transcendent Unity.***

You make a valid point on the relationship between the third-density self and sixth-density self in that one doesn’t develop their Higher Self but learns to invoke it. I was only thinking of it in terms of a “psycho-spiritual” software program that the third density self would need to develop before invoking.

While I agree with you that all negative workings would involve an invocation of Power, I wouldn’t necessarily say that all workings that involve an invocation of Power are with negative intentions. I could be wrong, but those of Ra did mention that Power can be sought to serve, heal, teach, or protect.

I will admit though that there should always be a degree of vigilance when one is performing work that involves submission. But again, it’s all in the intention. Submission can be to darkness or it can be to the Divine Will/Telos/Love of the Intelligent Creator that not only facilitates our entrance and growth within the illusion but also our exit from the illusion and our evolution in higher densities.

As with everything in this illusion, the limit is the viewpoint. I bid you the peace and blessings of the Creator.

Tonight this reminds me of the three degrees of Reiki.
The first degree can cover basics, knowledge as power.
The second degree involves a love of symbols, for use
in things like distance healing. A third degree can
include a wisdom of teach/learning. If you’re fortunate,
a pursuit of Reiki can reveal an immensity to discover.

I sometimes ponder why Ra considers the Law of One
as having greatest value. It might be like a leap of faith
to adopt such a perspective. But say someone did,
and via some magical personality then, there’s some
experiential affirmation of such a perspective.
It might be that a pursuit of the Law of One grows
from reciting artifacts of creation into more about
creating artifacts in some way, shifting perspective.

Hello I am interested to learn more on this topic! Two days before I was lead to this forum I was lead to read from the Ra Contact and opened directly to this page. As I read the words that expressed the use of Power, Love, and Wisdom to be of service to others, I felt a surge of energy tingle through my body and I felt Love and Peace. Then two days later after logging into this forum for the first time this entry was there at the top of the list. Thus, I am interested in hearing more on the topic. I have been meditating on the unity of the three and look forward to growth and understanding.

I wish I could offer more but since I’m also relatively a beginner in this subject, I can only refer you to the literature that Don, Carla, and Jim used during their research. The specific passage I posted is from “The Magician: His Training and Work” by W.E Butler. It contains some of the theoretical and practical information required to begin practicing ceremonial magic in the Western mystery tradition. It’s very much within the vein of the Golden Dawn system and covers topics such as the Tree of Life, Words of Power, the magical personality, and talismanic magic. Of course, this is not the only system for practicing ritual magic so feel free to take or leave the information in the book at your discretion. You are the Creator, after all.

I sometimes wonder if there’s reciprocation at play between densities. For example we pet a dog, and in doing so we invest it in conscious self awareness, affirming to it that it is the one infinite creator as a sentient super dog. Then well in that helping along the evolutionary 2d journey of the dog, we more easily discover help along our 3d journey of our humanity by some higher density reciprocating our helpfulness. I reflect that in the immensely long lifespans of higher densities, eons - a thousand year evolutionary gap between a human and their dog may not differ much. I also ponder lower densities provide reminders to higher densities about things they may have forgotten, as if the helpfulness goes both ways in different forms.

May i add that we are also helping that dog in its journey into 3D. they have known to become your guide after spending their life with you. Showing unconditional love. there is good reason that DOG spelled backward spells GOD. They are showing you what unconditional love feels like .

Related to the dog tangent, I pondered the idea of domestication as a factor in lending access to growth catalyst that a wild dog may not be privy to. Drawing analogy to human experience, we might tame our
conduct or spiritual behaviors as domestically
compatible with higher densities in order to then
benefit from catalyst that association affords.
There’s some hints about a sense of harmony
that factored beneficially into the Ra contact.

If anyone reading this seems embroiled in some
ongoing domestic strife or conflicts, please consider
everyone has a right to feel safe in their home and
you’re better than that. Don’t settle for things that
are no longer good enough even if making change
seems out of reach. Draw a boundary, do not
tolerate abuse, get out sooner than later. Living
with wild dogs is not conducive to evolutionary
conditions that domesticated dogs enjoy.

What a treat! I’m still working through reading the whole book but I’ve read the portions related to the magical philosophy of the Ra channelings so far. I’m hoping to journey further into the text once I fully grasp the information related to the Law of One teach/learning material, if that’s even possible within a single lifetime in this density

There’s a movie called Tracks about a woman who
walks across Australia with her dog and a few camels.
In the movie is mention of a few things given to cope
with the hardship of life: hope, jokes, and dogs - but
the greatest of these, are dogs.

For many people, a great love to experience is shared
with a dog. Dog as man’s best friend. It’s not bro
love, not platonic love, but some sort of loyal
companionship unconditional love,
difficult to describe.

People love achronyms. You might call a dog,
a non human intelligence, NHI; however, some
might say that is reserved for higher intelligence.
That may be arguable, as some people seem
somewhat stupid and some dogs are so smart.

The Law of One describes evolutionary states in
densities. A dog might be considered 2d and a
person 3d. Importantly, love transcends all
bounds. It’s okay for a dog to love its human,
and a human to love its dog.

Now a dog loves smelling and is especially fond
of smells, which might be considered 1d. It’s
legitimate for a dog to roll in a smell because,
well - it invests the smell with its love, not so
unlike a human invests a dog with love.

Now consider everything evolves a density and
love transcends time. The smell evolves from
1d into a 2d dog, the dog evolves from 2d into
a 3d human, and a 3d human evolves into a
4d something. And everything still loves
each other, in some evolved way.

It seems expected, that some humans had
past lives as beloved dogs, and that some
beloved humans have future lives as non
humans. For this reason, the experience
of being loved by higher densities might
be expected, even if that higher density
entails a non-canine-intelligence NCI or
non-human-intelligence NHI.

As people grow in the Law of One, all
densities might be considered the one
infinite creator in various states of
consciousness evolution. At some point,
separative labels can fall away to reveal
important transcendent aspects about Love.
