How incredibly fascinating. To see a thread full of songs that I would have never expected. I will admit, I had a thought run through my head that I may be in a forum full of people that are way too different from me. I wanted to be judgmental, and I suppose that is because I became “fearful” that I was among unfamiliar people. Then I had this thought run through my head. As a child I was mercilessly bullied by my peers. The first time I came home in tears my mom sat be down and said something that 20 years later resonates in me as “The first thing a person thinks is a reflection of they were conditioned to be, Not who they truly are. There will always be a second thought that runs through your mind. Always. And that is who is you truly are and that is who you will become as long as your words and reflections are that of the Ladder.” I I’ve took that with me always. When someone is cruel, judgmental or ignorant it just means they are just afraid. Afraid cause you are different. That’s what happened just now so that’s why I wanted to write this post. You will not be unfamiliar to me forever.
I appreciate all of you dearly and your unique choices that resonate within you. Music is so incredibly important for me. I would be so lost without it. Music has been carrying me to here for an eternity. There is so much love and life felt through music. IF you just know how to listen. Music will guide you home.
