When you seek love, when you seek to know the source of love, it is an attempt to tabernacle, shall we say, to become one with that which is infinite and invisible, that which is nearer to you than your own body. You need go nowhere. Love is waiting for you, so close—so very close, my friends. So that the request, in its simplicity, is simply a willingness of you as individualized consciousness to become the observer in your life, to turn your life over to love, to turn your life over to Christ-consciousness. You do not have the power to show love. You can only offer your life to love, so that love can live your life. Then, as you watch, the force of love flowing through you will teach you,
You, yourself, as individualized consciousness, will never be wise to the ways of love, for the physical is a series of measurements and judgments and understandings which are limitations. Love is creative, limitless and infinite.
When love approaches a situation, love expands that situation. Love eases. Love makes possible comfort where no comfort was. Individualized consciousness cannot do this and all the will in the world cannot find the way of love.
So as you seek, seek to watch the ways of love as they flow through you. It is important to discriminate, it is important to judge. And yet, as you are functioning, allow love to flow through you, without judgment and without hindrance. And then it will teach you its ways and it will live your life. You cannot direct the Creator. As long as you attempt to direct Him, He will stand knocking, asking to be let in to your heart. Once you make the connection, then you and the consciousness of love will be together, communing and living a creative life.
Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Truer words were never written. It is your responsibility—your only true responsibility—to seek and then when you have found—to share. For us to share this with you is a great pleasure. I will transfer to another instrument. I am Hatonn.
“You, yourself, as individualized consciousness, will never be wise to the ways of love, for the physical is a series of measurements and judgments and understandings which are limitations. Love is creative, limitless and infinite.”
As I read the RA Materials, a strong point of “balancing Love and Wisdom,” or the negative and positive polarizations, seems very important to the Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow for advancing harvestability.
Could it be said, in your opinion, that the search for wisdom, while limited, offers further love, by balancing faith (trust in that which is unknowable) with knowledge (that which is subjectively true)? In other words, knowing that love cannot be found through wisdom, but still seeking it for the proper balance of polarity can bring us closer to love by using the wisdom to serve others in their search?
Well, no, love cannot be found by wisdom because wisdom is too busy being wise most of the time and does not take the trouble to seek love.
Love may be found by discovering it in your being. If a book or a movie leaves you in tears, perhaps your heart was opened there? If you feel sorrow for the plight of those who suffer, then you might have discovered some compassion within you. From there, you may choose to follow that compassion, let’s say, deeper inside, tracking it to its lair and then you might ask to commune directly with it.
I’m not sure that seeking love increases polarization, necessarily, but it deepens the experience of catalyst. For example, let’s say you try to help someone with a problem and then they punish you for it. Wisdom might say, “Well, that didn’t work, time to move on.” Love might say,“My heart goes out to that person because they obviously are troubled and confused.” The balance would be holding both of these responses and allowing spirit to move you however it would in terms of how you actually respond to the person you’re dealing with.
I am trying to understand…
If one finds wisdom while seeking love, then the search for love begets that wisdom, however if one acts upon that wisdom, there is no love to be had? Would the service-to-others then be hampered by sharing that wisdom?
Could intentional communication about the interaction which offered the catalyst still further service-to-others by broadening a deeper connection between the two, thus allowing for stronger positive polarity by furthering growth toward love within both selves?
I don’t understand the question. If there is love, then there is love, regardless of action, right?
Sharing or not sharing may or may not be service to others, depending upon the intentions of the giver and the receptiveness of the receiver. As I understand it, it is situationally dependent, not a formulaic function. If one shares with a pure heart and the other doesn’t want it, then is it self serving to do it anyway or other serving? If one shares with mixed intentions, then the polarity is mixed, and so forth.
Same answer. It depends upon the quality of the motivation and receptivity. And by the way, much in terms of receptivity and motivation is subconscious and not obvious to the biased observer.
It seems that the crux of my confusion lies in my misunderstanding of wisdom being negatively-polarized.
Personally, I find myself having a strong sense of what people want/need in our interactions, and have lived my entire life searching for the wisdom of how to use this awareness to better interact in a beneficial way, one that they can accept and utilize.
I am having a hard time grasping that I have negatively polarized this incarnation by seeking wisdom in the name of serving others. It may be semantics, but it seems the biggest hurdle I have in understanding the messages from RA on polarity.
I ask for any clarifications.
With all due respect, I think you’re holding your picture upside down, in this particular instance.
First, no, wisdom is absolutely not negatively polarized, rather, it is a way of engaging with catalyst (through perception and consequent emotion) which can serve either negatively or positively, depending on your pleasure.
Take a look at this. It is Q’uo’s response to a person with a very strong wisdom bias. The upshot has to do with moving deeper into consciousness. You might like it…and the price is right.
Anyhow. it’s a long road, so pull up a chair and relax.
@Mirror, This clarification on wisdom was exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you!
Also, the passages from the link were particularly apropos. You must have read my profile. Lol. I sincerely appreciate this conversation, and appreciate you as well, for your willing to have it. Had to start somewhere, and this has been a great way to kick it off!
Well, what a co-inky-dink! I did not read your profile heretofore, but I get it. The questions posed in that session from 19 years ago were from myself. I return to it periodically to squeeze more juice out of it.
By the way, polarity, in short, is the power needed to do work in spirit. Power is power and, again, can be used according to your pleasure. The power increases due to increased dedication to service (or learning or similar things) coming from deeper parts of self. In other words, as your desires and your will become more articulated, solidified and connected to deeper energy sources, your ability to know or create changes become deeper.
At the same time, however, as you grow, you will be challenged to further apply your greater capacity. For example, you may expend much energy to accept and love items which are blocking your energy system. And right after you rise to that occasion you may by hit with a much more challenging situation to accept and love. And so we grow into our selves.
Like I said, it’s a long road, so relax and try not to take it personally. But you already know all this.
So the more self-aware one becomes towards one’s personal desires, the greater the power to act on them, and with greater power comes greater ability to overcome. So, don’t force it or the catalysts will feel tougher to overcome. Got it. Lol
Excellent summation of my personal biases on this topic.
And…there’s more!
The process is not merely a technical game, although the wisdom-tilting individual may mostly see it that way. What such a person may not be so keenly aware of is the “heart of the matter.”
While creation can be viewed in technical terms, in essence, it is an act of love. As such it is directly tied in to the heart–not so much the personality heart, but the impersonal aspect of the heart which shies away from nothing, as it accepts all as self, just variously displayed. But here’s a bit of a catch, impersonal does not mean dispassionate, it means fully (and I mean fully) passionate. And here’s another anomaly, it is not outward facing, dispensing bits of fluff and glitter hither and yon, it is inward leaning and exquisitely radiant.
Where I’m going with this is the following practical advice (not just for you, but for humans in general). In order to hold up to the gravity of all this, it is essential to initially discover within self extreme peace, as it were. In my experience, it will be there when you are ready for it. It’s a dynamic state of complete balance that envelopes you from the center of earth to some place up the silver cord that enables your incarnate status on this planet.
Naturally, you have to build up to that by seeking where you know to find one level of peace and then another and then another. It’s a degree of self knowing that greatly facilitates accepting and working with subconscious layers of being. In short, feed your heart along the way because it will show you the deeper truths. Wisdom, then, can support this.
I certainly gave this thread the right title in the sense that I’m sharing a good portion of what I have sought.
