Most have more than one angel, depending upon how much of a stinker they really are. The ones who are kindly affectioned, one to another, have as many as twelve, that is normally the complete assortment of angels that one individual will have.
Angels exist as part of the higher personality of each individual in order to give guidance, self confidence and a feeling of support. Very few among your peoples know how to call upon their angels, and yet they are there and they are as full of love and light as are we. But they are members of your planetary sphere, and thus they have the right to do a little bit more for you than we can. In other words they have the right to be with you, whether you request it or not.
I never thought of angels as being part of my personality. Happily will I look into this.
The English in that passage is a bit awkward, but as I read it, stinkers have fewer angels attending them, while those who radiate kindness have more. So, you might want to stick with the kindness and not stink any more than you otherwise would.
Angels, evidently, have sensitive noses.

The more one attunes to angelic sensibilities, the more angels are attracted to your presence. The more that angels are attracted to your presence, the more beautiful is your experience of life.
I have been tuning in to angels being part of my personality since I read that passage. It feels a tiny bit like this piece by a Frenchman, oddly enough.
In my experience, they view themselves more along the lines of “those who have walked the path before us” or “adults” rather than traditional angels. edit/ and they also seem notably wary of—or put off by—sinister tones, regardless of the context we apply them in
To answer your question, I do actively tend my resonance field in all areas of life, so that it’s a welcoming space for them to share with me. At the same time, I’ve come to understand that phases and ingredients of disharmony often lead to a much deeper and more sustainable harmony down the road, if we actively integrate what those experiences teach us.
I had a little tough issue back in 1983 with my second child and one day I heard very distinctly flo this will be ok. Clear as a bell. I then engaged conversation and then since, I often ask questions . They are both very kind and very funny. Could be my higher self but I doubt it. They are defitnitely two and one is prominent. It kind of aligns with what Michael Newton in his books relates about guides.
I am not sure this was the subject of your initial query Mirror as you referred to angels.
Yes, I expect you are correct that those are guides, not angels; that is, spirit beings supporting your spiritual awareness and growth. At that dark moment you were particularly open to listening, and good on you for following up on that relationship afterward.
For some number of years I have also been poised well enough to get quick answers to my spiritual questions, and that also feels like it comes from remarkably compatible, caring guides. To me, the angels feel different, as thought have different internal lighting. They glow with a different radiance, closer to Source. They feel more like innate reverence, like they never developed in a personal manner through a process of synthesizing the light and the dark–as Rasmus referred to above.
But I do feel this one dude, kind of at the tippy-top of my personality, mirroring to me that reverence, stillness and transparent watchfulness in myself. It feels like it floats at the top of center pole in a huge tent where all my various (and mostly unruly) selves are congregated. It’s the one we should all turn our attention to to become unified.

Held lightly as a possibility, I believe what we refer to as angels are probably early wanderers. As Source/Creator explores individuality further from the original state, the goalposts are moved with each success. A little like how a society achieves a higher quality of life, what was once the pinnacle becomes the new baseline (e.g., indoor plumbing, electricity, refrigeration).
I am re-reading now many passages from Michael Newton different books and it seem angelic presences might be a category too who wouldn’t necessarily incarnate
