I’d like to share a session of contemplation I had recently about time and timing. What’s your relationship with those notions?
I consider the clock to be an instrument of timing, not time.
in my view, at this time:
Time is of no consequence,
timing is everything.
Timing is neither long nor short,
it’s appropriate or inappropriate.
When we are in an environment where timing is of little consequence on a personal or social level, we are still woven into the fabric of timing itself.
A dormant seed buried in total darkness has no concept of days or months, yet it feels the exact threshold of moisture and temperature required to germinate. It does not measure duration; it acts upon appropriateness.
When personal or social pressures vanish, we stop micromanaging timing and simply start nudging our own participation in accordance with comfort and discomfort.
We are no longer navigating an external schedule; we are inhabiting the baseline resonance of the universe–where every breath, chemical exchange, and subtle perception is already a play of effortless synchronization.
In this observational state, timing ceases to feel like a constraint we have to manage and becomes the natural medium through which we navigate existence.
